The Verge article What is the blood pressure in a healthy person?
The Verge says it is “not an accurate measure of blood pressure”.
However, it says the “most important thing to remember about blood pressure is that it’s the result of the heart beating, which is a lot easier to measure with an accurate monitor than with a blood pressure cuff.”
The Verge also says it does not recommend using a blood test to monitor blood pressure: “a test for blood pressure should only be used to assess a person’s risk for a blood clot.”
The test can also be used for “diagnostic purposes”.
How does the blood test work?
The heart muscle is the major source of blood supply to the body, and blood pressure comes from the area of the arteries in the heart.
The more blood vessels in the body that are blocked by plaque, the more the blood supply can be blocked.
Blood pressure can also depend on the age of the person, their height and body weight.
It is thought that people in their 20s and 30s are at the highest risk for developing blood clots.
But blood pressure tests can help doctors assess someone’s risk.
The US government and some healthcare organisations recommend people over 40 have their blood pressure checked yearly.
It also recommends checking blood pressure every three to six months, but it can be difficult to get a reliable result.
The UK also recommends blood pressure checks every three months.
What can I do if I suspect my blood pressure may be low?
If you suspect you have low blood pressure and your blood pressure shows signs of improvement, it’s possible that your condition may improve with time.
This is a normal result and is not a sign of a health problem.
If you’re concerned, you should contact your GP or other healthcare provider, and see if you’re able to get blood pressure readings again in a few months.
